REVIEWS
FOR ' TWELFTH NIGHT '
The Seeing
Place brought their characteristic (and indefatigable) enthusiasm
to the piece...sincerely and without affectation.
- Molly Hagan, Broadway World
The cast, under the direction of Brandon
Walker, has internalized the story of this play well...they present
the text intelligently in a conversational tone and with an easy
manner.
- Elfin Vogel, OffOffOnline
The Seeing Place Theater Company dedicates
itself to the reality of the play; it strives to show conflict
and characters as something universal, human, and real. This
allows the audience to relate to the expression of the characters.
Each gesture is natural and believable.
- Emily Hockaday, Show Business Weekly
This rising theater company engulfs you
into the action and language of William Shakespeare...with a
cast of dedicated performers.
- Adam Rothenberg, Adaumbelle's Quest
Lindsay Teed as Viola was so brilliant,
I fell in love with New York all over again.
- Lixi W., A Wild Chase
Anna Marie Sell as Olivia is compelling...she
is a riveting presence on stage. Nathan Ramos as Andrew Aguecheek
is compact fun.
- Martha Wade Steketee, Urban Excavations
David Arthur Bachrach, who performs the
role of Feste, is clearly the guiding genius of the play.
Jorge Humberto Hoyos (Sir Toby Belch) and Ned Baker
Lynch (Fabian) give admirable, workmanlike performances.
- Will Kenton, Cultural Capitol
Brandon Walker is a gifted and dedicated
actor who is effortlessly funny as Malvolio.
David Sedgwick (Orsino) does not only embody the respectability...he is also
a highly effective actor.
Erin Cronican as Maria is a highly competent actress.
Michael Jefferson (Antonio) stands out, delivering his lines almost flawlessly.
Michael Stephen Clay (Valentine) provides valuable support.
Ben Leasure (Sebastian) is clearly a competent performer.
- Ron Covar, Best of Off Broadway
I'm no great student of Shakespeare but
I understood every single word. The characters were unique and
personal. There wasnt a stitch of pretense to it. And the comedy
kills.

The performance was superb. Very funny,
easy to follow. Loved the modern twist on Shakespeares immortal
play.
